We would like to extend a special thank you to all that attended Graham Morgan’s event last Friday.
Graham shared a wealth of his own experience alongside the work that he does for the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland whilst our members and attendees reflected on their experiences of mental health services here in Angus.
Points of discussion included the duty of kindness, trust and building relationships within the community and its services, carers, peer support and third-sector opportunities, and the utmost importance of communicating lived experience to influence the delivery of good practise.
We look forward to inviting Graham back to Angus Voice in the near future.
Please get in touch if you would like further information or to share your thoughts to influence the mental health services used in our community.
